STUDENT SEMINARS

During the academic year 2018 - 2019, by the support of Principal & Management and cumulative efforts of the Members of Seminar Committee, the comprehension skills of the students are enhanced by conduction of Seminars, Work- shops, Awareness Camps and Guest Lectures. The inherent talents are brought forth from the Students by exposing them to give speeches on various issues.

International Day of Yoga was celebrated in the college on 21st June 2018. Principal & Correspondent Rev. Dr. Sr. Fatima Rani. P arranged a yoga session to all the final year UG students and invited the eminent personalities such as Mr.T. Vasu Deva, Advocate & Yoga Practitioner, Guntur; Mr.V.V. Govardhan Rao, Rtd. Bank Manager & Yoga Teacher; Mrs. G. Kiran Priya, Yoga Teacher of Pranic Healing, Guntur to teach the process of Meditation by simple exercises that would improve the super memory power, promotes relaxation, reduces stress and improves the knowledge and health conditions.

On 4th September 2018, a Power Point Presentation Competition on the topic of “Democracy in India - Role of Youth” was conducted to III UG Students. 11 of final year Students from the entire Groups of UG course had presented the topic with attractive slides and Swetha Supriya of III BBC & Sharon Rose of III MBC secured 1st & 2ndprizes.

A Seminar was organized on 6th September 2018 to III B.Sc. & B. Com students on “Attitude , Academics & Carrier Planning” by inviting a Guest Speaker Mr. M. Praveen kumar , Associate Professor , Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, CIET, Mothadaka to speak with Power Point Presentation on the primitive attitude of the Indian society towards the pursuing of higher education by Girl Child, recent developments in Women to climb the Educational ladder and good Career Planning for successful placements.

On 1st December 2018, Principal and Correspondent Dr. Sr. Fatima Rani. P had given a wonderful chance to III year U.G and P.G students to participate in an Awareness programme organized by P. Sikindhar, and S. Kiran , the Guest Faculty from Vijaya Sadhana Institution, Guntur on foreign education and also guidelines for preparation to GRE, GMAT, TOFEL, ILETS competitive examinations.

On 3rd December 2018, Rev. Sr. Cyril from Hyderabad was requested to share her experiences of working with deprived women and Girl children in Red light area in Hyderabad rescuing them and sheltering them. It was short and brief speech on many women atrocities happening all around & Women Empowerment.
