Co-Curicular Activities - White Can Day

To bring out the social, intellectual skills, to inculcate moral values and a good character and to groom the students in the “Art of Living and Working Together”, students were involved in Co-curricular activities.

As a part of it, International White Cane Day was observed in the College on 26th Nov 2018. Principal and Correspondent Rev.Dr.Sr.Fatima Rani.P, highlighted the mission of White Cane Day and the achievements done by visually impaired people in the sighted world. Quoting the lines of Helen Keller-“Alone we can do so little, Together we can do so much”, she inspired the family of St.Ann’s to be merciful on them. The positive impact of the words resulted in raising the considerable amount of fund and it was sent to Indian National Association for the Blind Trust Madhurai.

S.Sowjanya and K.Sheeba of Final MSCs and K. Keerthana of 1st BBC narrated in detail, how the sighted volunteers can lend their eyes to help visually challenged people.
